back sleeper

We asked everyone in our office which position they sleep in, we found that the majority of us are back sleepers.

Sleeping in the “Savasana” position (back sleeper), is great for you spine and neck health, as your back is straight and supported. Also sleeping on your back allows your mattress to efficiently support your spine. Keep in that using too many pillows, can make breathing difficult. Neurologist, Dr. Decontee Jimmeh said: “Sleeping on your back also combats acid reflux”.

There is also the fact that your face is not squashed against anything during the night, meaning you are reducing the chances of increasing wrinkles!
